Our quick and easy online booking system will allow you to make the appropriate appointment at your convenience. In the case of an emergency, please contact your specific practitioner via phone or email.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the osteopath/sports therapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process and the number of treatments likely required.  Once symptoms have resolved it may be that your practitioner advises maintenance treatment to help keep symptoms at bay and ensure you remain in peak physical condition and avoid an acute flare up of symptoms.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, osteopaths can assess and treat without referral from a doctor, however, some health insurers require a doctors referral before they authorise cover of fees.  With this in mind, it is advised patients speak with their health insurance before booking to confirm what is required.  Should patients have further queries we are happy to take calls and offer further information or advice.

Complex obsetric patients may require docotors consent prior to osteopathic and massage treatment.  Please speak with your practitioner should you have an unual or complicated presentation.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors.  Regular re-evaluations at intermittent periods during the treatment plan will take place to assess your progress and help achieve your goals.
